Israel pulls out but Palestine wants more
I already put my thoughts on the gaza pullout regarding Israel and Palestine. Today Gary Baer post's the first of many Islamic Terrorist attacks.
--Please note the thread below----------------
In the Middle East, no good deed goes unpunished. Israel Prime
Minister Ariel Sharon thought he was doing a good deed that would start
the illusive peace process when he ordered the forced evacuation of 8,500
Jews from Gaza. Now it’s payback time, but it isn’t olive branches that
are being extended.
A Palestinian homicide bomber blew himself up outside a bus station in southern Israel yesterday. At least 10 people were injured, but the death toll would have been higher if the bus driver hadn’t identified the man as a terrorist in time to stop him.
Meanwhile, Mohammed Deif, the shadowy leader of the Hamas "military,"
issued a bin Laden-type videotape over the weekend promising that now that
Israel’s withdrawal from Gaza is complete "all of Palestine" would "become a hell" for Israelis.
And finally, Israel began the last stage of the Gaza evacuation today—removing Jewish remains from 48 graves in the Gaza cemetery. The removal is necessary because Palestinian thugs will surely desecrate the graves if the bodies are left behind. And these are the people who optimists believe are prepared to "live side-by-side in peace with Israel."
